About Me
I’m a recent grad from Hackbright Academy, an accelerated full-stack software engineering bootcamp, with 6+ years of experience working at software companies in the health tech and biotech industries.
I’ve had a long-time interest in coding prior to this shift: I took a couple programming courses in high school and a couple more in college at Washington University in St. Louis. I was a teaching assistant for introductory computer science for 2 semesters there while I earned double majors in biochemistry and Spanish. All the jobs I’ve had post-grad (at Epic, Datavant, and Benchling) have been technically oriented client support roles and I’ve written, reviewed, and debugged code in M, python, and SQL in those roles.
Outside of work, I like to read (catch me on bookworm @char), run (currently training for the California International Marathon in Sacramento), see live music, care for my plants, mend worn clothes, hike, camp, and explore San Francisco.
